Rayane is a Registered Physiotherapist and has always been in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO).
Rayane graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2009 from the Sao Paulo State University (Brazil), where she was first in touch with OB/Gyn Pelvic Floor Health, having the opportunity to complete practical placements and work directly with patients, assessing and treating women with various conditions such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, pre and post-operative care, pre and post-natal care, etc.
Her personal experiences of being a dancer and having back pain as a teenager have brought her close to Clinical Pilates Method which she constantly implements into her Physiotherapy practice.
Educating and empowering patients to learn about their bodies and improve quality of life is what drives her professional practice. Working with pregnancy related conditions and educating her patients on how to make informed decisions during labour and take good care of themselves in postpartum gives her a great sense of contribution to Canadian families.
She is also engaged in working with the LGBT community and feels motivated when learning new treatment techniques and putting them into practice, therefore is constantly taking courses to enhance her professional skills.
Outside of the clinic you may find her taking some yummy risks in her kitchen, planning trips, spreading some word about mental health awareness, playing with her family, and exploring the outdoor areas of our community with her friends.
